Indian Hills Disposal Facility

Indian Hills Disposal is a special waste landfill and liquids disposal facility that accepts wastes primarily related to the exploration and production of oil in the Williston Basin area of western North Dakota. The Facility is a 30-acre petroleum waste reclamation and disposal facility. Alliance Consulting completed permitting through the NDIC and coordinated with NDDH, NDIC and local regulatory agencies for the project. The firm provided initial site layouts, operation plans, and traffic flow schematics.

Alliance completed drainage and grading plans for the site with a special focus on the sensitive aspects unique to this type of facility. Innovative concrete paving and curb design was completed used for challenging site drainage and secondary sediment control. Alliance managed all bid documents, contracts, and awards, secured necessary permits for construction, and submitted all site design and record drawings to the state.
